Extra Curricular Activities
Khel Mahakumbh Navrachana University was fairly represented by its students at the Khel Mahakumbh-2013 held by the Government of Gujarat in the month of January. The event provided the university with an excellent platform to showcase its sporting talent. Around sixty- Eight students represented the university in sports events like Volley-ball (Men's And Women's), Basketball (Men's and Women's), Lawn- Tennis (Doubles- Men's and Women's), and
Football (Men's). Out of the Sixty-eight participants, eight were selected to represent Vadodara at the state level matches. The list includes “ Ruchi Mudkavi (B. Arch.), Surabhi Thakkar (BBA) - Women's Basketball, Ujjawal Dawar ( B. Arch.), Dhruv Shah (B.
Arch.) and Kanwarpal Singh (BBA)- Men's Basketball, Digvijay Rajput (BBA)-Football (mens) and Helui Makwana (B.Tech.)- Lawn Tennis (Womens), and Vaidyanathan Iyer (B. Tech.)- Lawn Tennis (mens). These students have done Vadodara and Navrachana University Proud, and we applaud their talent and hard work.
Navrachana University ensures not only academic but an all round growth and development of the students. It provides them with a platform to polish and publish their hobbies and to acquire new skills.Extra Murals form an integral part of curriculum in the BBA program from semester 1 to semester 4.It is a credit based creative activity course valued at 2 credits. This course is designed to unleash creativity of students and provide a platform to satisfy their urge for creativity. It discovers the hidden talent and provides them a break from their daily schedule. The students participate in activities like Photography, calligraphy, photo shop workshops, swimming, dance , theatre, communication Workshops etc. and enjoy learning with fun. These activities offer the students with that extra edge which is required for today's youth to stand out amongst the crowd.
Sports ActivitiesIndoor Games & Sports Club
The Sports Club is created to provide opportunities for students to participate in a variety of sports and recreational activities. It is a student organization formed by those with a common interest in a sport activity and exists to promote and develop interest in that particular sport.
Within the NU campus students have been provided with one Volley Ball court and two Table Tennis tables. In addition to this students are also provided with a complete Cricket Kit (with all necessary safety wares), four Badminton kits, Football, Volley ball, Chess sets, Carom Board.

Bridge ExhibitionStudents of Second Year B Tech-Civil, organized a Bridge Exhibition on October 30,
2013 at the University campus from 11:30 AM - 2:00 PM. The exhibits of Bridge Model were designed and constructed by the students using fundamental concepts acquired in the
class as a part of their curriculum. Also, the Second Year Electrical and Electronics Engineering students exhibited their mini Projects at the same platform.
The exhibition saw an enthusiastic flow of visitors, and everyone was amazed at the
diverse and sturdy models that were at display. The proud designers not only explained the underlying concepts behind the models efficiently, but also expertly handled the volley of questions that were directed towards them. This only showed that with efficient guidance, the student caliber could be channelized towards many more such successful projects. Congratulations to all the proud faculty members whose mentoring and guidance found the right spirit in the students!
