Dr.Denni Mammen has completed both his graduation in Chemistry (2004) and post-graduation (2016) in the subject of Organic Chemistry from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda with First class Honours. He then went ahead to complete his Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from University of Mumbai at Guru Nanak Institute of Research And Development, Guru Nanak Khalsa college, Matunga, Mumbai. He was awarded his Ph. D. Degree in 2011 for his work on natural product chemistry and pharmacognosy of medicinal plants.

Previous experience

  • Dr. Denni Mammen was appointed as Lecturer in Chemistry for the Postgraduate course in Bioanalytical Chemistry, G. N. Khalsa College from 2009-2010.
  • He served as Teaching Assistant in the Department of Chemistry, The M. S. University of Baroda from 2010-2014.
  • He has also worked in Kadam Environmental Consultants, Vadodara as Senior Scientific Officer where he has worked on R& D of analysis of air samples for NOx, SOx, CO, methanated and non methanated hydrocarbons, residual pesticide in drinking water and waste water samples using gas chromatography, treatability studies on effluent samples, trace metal analysis using spectrophotometric methods, AAS and FES as well as development of new techniques for air, water and soil analysis.
  • He was appointed as Assistant Professor and Head of Chemistry Department,Parul Institute of Applied Sciences, Parul University, Vadodara in 2016-2017. His other important designations wereCo-ordinator for M. Sc. (Chemistry) and B. Sc. (Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics) programmes, Co-ordinator for Examinations, and Co-ordinator of Management Information Systems (MIS) for the institute.
