Background
Joined Navrachana University in June 2012 as an Assistant Professor and has been an integral part of the academic team ever since.

Scholarship and Accomplishments
Dr. Ramanujam’s research interest revolves around understanding structure-property correlations in conducting polymer composites/nanocomposites finding applicationsin proton exchange membrane fuel cells, Electromagnetic interference shielding devices. He has been visiting scholar in the college of dentistry, Ohio State University in May 2015 for couple of months. He has also been awarded Visiting Scientist Fellowship from Indian National Science Academy (INSA) from 15th June 2016 to 14th August 2016.

Dr. Ramanujam teaches Physics, Introduction to Nanotechnology (Elective) courses to Engineering undergraduates. He also teaches Physics-I course to students in the BSc Program along with Introduction to Polymer Science and Engineering (Elective) and Introduction to Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (Elective) for B.Sc. Students. Heexposes students to science fundamentals and has chosen teaching to as a way to conduct research in education. Recipient of the Dean choice award for teaching at Navrachana University in the School of Science and Engineering for the year 2015, he is greatly enthused by the teaching-learning processand is highly inspired by work of students of Navrachana University. He is a reviewer of Elsevier and SAGE journals.

To date he has published 8 articles in peer-reviewed journals and 5 articles in the proceedings of international conferences. Dr. Ramanujam has lectured in over 15 international conferences. He has delivered invited lecture in the UGC sponsored National Seminar related to Nanomaterials in Sacred Heart College, Chalakudy, Kerala held in November 2015.
