Navrachana University, a UGC Approved statutory university, has announced admission to the eighth batch of its B Tech program for the academic year 2019-20 in the following branches.

ACPC Seats (75%)
Admission to 75% seats (Gujarat Seats) of the Program will be through ACPC (Admission Committee for Professional Courses), Government of Gujarat on basis of the merit list prepared by the ACPC.

8 Merit cum means Scholarships are available to entering B. Tech students in each stream of engineering who are within the 1-8000 ACPC Merit Rank. Interested candidates must come with filled in forms and parents’ IT returns (2017-18) to the University within 3 days of the announcement of the Final Merit List announced by ACPC.

Admission to this batch for All India seats(25%) will be based on the All India Ranks/Score of JEE(Main)- 2019, as per the notification of the Government of Gujarat.

Candidates should have passed 12th Standard (HSC) in Science Stream or its equivalent examination from any school in India (including Gujarat) and should have secured a minimum aggregate score of 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST/SEBC) in theory only or in theory and practical with Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biology or Technical vocational subjects. The candidates should have appeared for JEE (Main)-2019.
Candidates seeking admission to the program under these seats are required to apply online application in the prescribed of NUV. The University will prepare a Merit list of eligible candidates based on marks of JEE (Main) 2019 examination. The Merit list will be displayed on the University’s Website as well as on Notice Board. For All India Seats, fees are the same as for open category students. At the time of counseling, the candidates who are offered admission will be required to immediately pay an amount of Rs. 54,500/- by online or Cheque/Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favor of Navrachana University, Vadodara.

Interview will comprise of Questions related to Current Affairs, Courses Studied in HSC, Opinion on relevant Contemporary Socioeconomic, Political, and International Issues. Weightage 50%.

Note: For enrollment in M.Sc. (Organic Chemistry) and M.Sc. (Analytical Chemistry) Program, a multiple choice (objective questions) written test to ascertain fundamental knowledge in Chemistry followed by a personal interaction with Chemistry Admissions Team.
Students who have completed 10+2 in Science stream (All Boards) are eligible for admission to BSc Program.
Eligible students will be selected on the basis of interaction with the BSc Faculty (every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 9-4 pm starting from 16th May 2019) and on merit basis.
