Krishnan Subramaniam Iyer is a chemical and rocket scientist from Tamil Nadu and originally belong to Chennai and thus, his Hindi is not very clear. Iyer’s dark complexion is just contrasting of his wife, Babita. He often falls victim to fraud. He is very protective about Babita and skeptic about intentions of Jethalal. Both Iyer and Jethalal publicly fight and indulge into verbal spat with each other on many occasions. They both attempt to showoff and make fun of each other in front of Babita. Iyer has given a lot of gifts and surprises to Babita to impress her. He is also the treasurer of the Gokuldham Society.
