MG Hector
comes to NUV

 

To equip the current generation of students with skills that will be relevant in the mobility segment of tomorrow.
To give students an immersive learning experience in their mechanical, electrical, computer engineering, and IT courses.

The MG Hector provided by MG Motor India to Navrachana University will bridge the gap between industry and academia. Aligned with MG Nurture program and MG’s vision of CASE mobility, the initiative will foster students’ skill development and make them job-ready.

 

Speaking about the association, Mr. Manish Manek – Chief – VLE, MG Motor India, said, “We are committed to equipping the current generation of students with skills that will be relevant in the mobility segment of tomorrow. We are delighted to partner with Navrachana University and are confident that this initiative will bring significant value to the college students and prepare them for future job opportunities.”

 

The donation of Hector (India’s first internet SUV) aims to provide an opportunity for students of Navrachana University to learn about the internal components of the vehicle in detail. It will further help in practical knowledge of automobile engineering courses offered in the curriculum. The students can also take up some vehicle components and do reverse engineering studies.

 

Speaking about the partnership, Ms. TejalAmin, Chairperson – Navrachana Education Society & Navrachana University, said, “We are honored by the collaboration with MG as it will give our students an immersive learning experience in their mechanical, electrical, computer engineering, and IT courses. Some of our students will benefit in their B. Tech final year project in terms of re-engineering, design of vehicle components, and optimization. This initiative will promote skill development and empower students with first-hand knowledge of major automotive systems.”
