Navrachana University (NUV) believes that a good library is pivotal to the growth of an educational institution and hence committed to developing a well-equipped and strong central Library to cater the information requirements of students and faculty members to pursue academic work and accomplish research goals. NUV’s mission for the Learning Resource Centre through is Central Library is to support the University in its quest to become an internationally, top-ranked, research driven University.
NUV’s Library has invaluable resources for graduate, post graduate, Ph.D. students and faculty members of the University. The library has vast collection of books, magazines, journals, encyclopedia, dictionary, audio-visual material and it caters to those pursuing education and research in the field of Education, Science, Technology, Engineering, Humanities, Social sciences, Management, Law, and Architecture and Design. The library is also well equipped with modern facilities and resources in the form of CD-ROM, On-line databases, audio-video cassettes, books, journals, and project reports. To support higher education, the University library is equipped with documents like thesis of research in education, journals and back volumes of journals. The library is fully automated by using Library management software SOUL and advance automation RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) System.
Navrachana University Library hosted the inauguration of “The Lord Bhikhu Parekh Study” on September 26, 2026, to honour the renowned scholar and integrate over 1,800 volumes from his personal London collection into the university’s academic framework. Preceded by a press conference, the ceremony officially unveiled a dedicated reading space designed to support advanced interdisciplinary research in political theory, humanities, ethics, and related fields.
The NUV Library organizes book exhibitions to provide an open platform for faculty members, students, and staff to explore the latest publications in their respective subject areas and disciplines. The exhibition also showcases a diverse range of general reading books beyond academic subjects, encouraging reading habits, broadening knowledge, and fostering a vibrant reading culture within the university community.
The library also hosted a literary session featuring poet, critic, and translator Naresh Chandrakar on the topic “मेरे लिए कविता की रचना-प्रक्रिया” (The Process of Writing Poetry). The session encouraged literary appreciation, creative expression, and meaningful engagement with poetry among the university community.
