Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a flagship program of Navrachana University. It offers theory and practice-based courses spread across Core and Discipline Specific Electives. Students can choose courses from four major disciplines including, Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, and Operations. In addition, the program offers electives from the field of Insurance and International Business. The course further allows students to select certain courses from outside the domain of management, by opting for a choice-based elective program of the university.
Multiple Internships and Final Semester Research Projects are significant aspects of the MBA Program which develops students’ professional and research aptitude. Social Internship – Managers today have a larger responsibility towards society. Students of NUV MBA are required to undergo one-month full time social internship with NGOs or CSR department of a company for better understanding of various socio-developmental issues. The social internship carries a total weightage of Two (02) Credits in the MBA curriculum.Â

Corporate Internship – The Internship Program is an attempt to bridge the gap between academics and the corporate world. In MBA program, students undertake a two-month full-time internship in companies. The internship is scheduled during the intervening period between the close of Semester II and the commencement of Semester III. The internship carries a total weightage of Four (04) Credits in the MBA curriculum. The internship program would be a simulation of the real work environment, it requires the Student Interns to undergo the rigor of the professional environment, both in form and substance. In the process, it provides an opportunity for the Student Interns to satisfy their curiosity about the corporate world. It also provides exposure to various technical skills and helps them to acquire social skills by being in constant interaction with the professionals of the corporate world.Â

Both internships and other projects provide an opportunity for the students to build a healthy and positive relationship with the corporate world and specifically with a prospective employer to pave the way for future placement. Over the years, the students of MBA-NUV have excelled by getting placed in reputed corporate, startups or consultancy firms, many have even opted for starting their own business ventures or prolifically joined their family business. Â

Any graduate or equivalent in any stream with minimum 50% (45% for SC/ ST/SEBC/EWS) and who has cleared CMAT and registered through ACPC can select MBA.Â

Objective: The Written Aptitude Test assesses cognitive readiness for management education, focusing on reasoning ability, comprehension, and analytical thinking.
Structure: Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation, General Knowledge

Stage II: Case Let Assessment (CLA)
Objective: The Case Let Assessment evaluates managerial judgment, contextual understanding, decision-making ability, and ethical sensitivity.
Format: Case-based Presentation (Oral)
Case length: Maximum 2 pages
Duration: 30 minutes (20 minutes reading and Preparation, 10 minutes for presentations)

Stage III: Personal Interview (PI)
Objective: The Personal Interview assesses motivation, communication skills, leadership potential, ethical orientation, and overall program fit.

Key Assessment Areas: Career clarity and goals, Major achievements, Communication and articulation, Ethical awareness, General business, and societal awareness

Candidates are required to write an SOP answering the following two questions:
a) Why the candidate desires to apply for the MBA Program
