The school has been established to offer broad-based education in Architecture and Design keeping the future needs of the industry and the concerns of the society in mind. The following degree programs are offered by SEDA - Bachelor in Architecture (BArch) and Bachelor's in Design (BDesign- Interior/ Product Design/ Visual Communication)
In our Bachelor of Architecture program, we believe in learning by doing, and a major portion of the curriculum focuses on hands on learning. By following the Problem Based Learning (PBL) approach, we ensure emphasis is given to the thought process, rather than final output. Through the program, students will enjoy the benefits of working at our state-of-the-art facilities, like the SEDA Material Lab, wood workshop, pottery and photography labs.
The Architecture program goes beyond just training students to fit into the professional field. The program introduces and develops skills and knowledge necessary for contemporary architectural practice as well as research.
Architecture is a broad base program that allows students to pursue a range of specialization. The program provided exposure and prepared students to find their own trajectory for future.
Studio and workshop are the central space of synthesis. These are supported by intense academic processes, experienced faculty members and supporting infrastructure.
The B. Arch program is designed with the objective of widening students’ knowledge and helping cultivate the right kind of values, ethics, and attitudes required for being a socially responsive citizen. This includes in-depth studies about societies and their historical context in different regions of India and beyond, international influences and the evolving value of our society, Art and crafts of different regions, the changing economy, and increasing awareness about the environment.

As a part of the curriculum, the 8th semester BArch students are required to undergo practical training/internships at architectural offices for a duration of 6 months.

Process |
Eligibility:
B-Arch Lateral Admission Transfer in 2nd/3rd year are open for students who have successfully completed their 1st/2nd year respectively in BArch from any other university in India. The admission will be offered based on previous semester results and portfolio. Interested students can fill up the form available here
