Introduction
The NUV App is designed exclusively for Navrachana University students. The app provides functionality to view academic performance, attendance, lecture schedules, and information from various university functions. All data displayed in the app is owned by Navrachana University.
Information We Collect
Authentication
We use Microsoft Sign-In for authentication. The University provides each student with an official email ID created using Microsoft 365 Education services. You must use this university-provided email ID to sign in. We do not support or recommend using any other email IDs for authentication purposes.
During authentication, we only verify that you are a valid user with an authorized university email account. We do not store your Microsoft credentials or have access to your Microsoft password.
Personal Information
We collect data to provide better services to all our users and to support various university processes. The information we collect and how that information is used depends on how you use our services. This may include:
- Basic information provided by the institution
- Usage data about how you interact with the app
- Device information such as device ids
- FCM token for firebase push notification
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our services
- Verify user validity through Microsoft Sign-In using your university-provided email
- Display academic information and personalized content
- Send notifications about updates, events, and academic activities
- Generate analytics to improve user experience

Sharing Your Information
Microsoft Sign-In
Authentication is handled through Microsoft 365 Education services using your university-provided email ID. Do not use any other email ID for this purpose.
Google Firebase Cloud Messaging
We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), a cross-platform messaging solution, to provide you with various types of push notifications. For privacy information related to Google services, please read Google’s Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
