Dr. Denni Mammen has done his Masters in Organic Chemistry from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara, and Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from University of Mumbai. His areas of research are phytochemistry, pharmacognosy, method development and validation on analytical instruments. He has 35 paper publications. 1 book chapter and 2 book publications to his credit. He has been teaching topics on analytical techniques, organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry and forensic analysis to students in graduate and postgraduate students of Chemistry, Biomedical Sciences and Bioanalytical Sciences for the past 14 years. Dr. Denni Mammen has completed both his graduation (2004) in Chemistry and post-graduation (2006) in the subject of Organic Chemistry from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda with First class Honours. He then went ahead to complete his Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from University of Mumbai at Guru Nanak Institute of Research and Development, Guru Nanak Khalsa college, Matunga, Mumbai. He was awarded his Ph. D. Degree in 2011 for his work on natural product chemistry and pharmacognosy of medicinal plants.

Assistant Professor and Head of Chemistry Department, Parul Institute of Applied Sciences, Parul University, Vadodara in 2016-2017. His other important designations were Co-ordinator for M. Sc. (Chemistry) and B. Sc. (Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics) programs, Co-ordinator for Examinations, and Co-ordinator of Management Information Systems (MIS) for the institute.
Senior Scientific Officer in Kadam Environmental Consultants, Vadodara, in R& D of analysis of air samples for NOx, SOx, CO, methanated and non methanated hydrocarbons, residual pesticide in drinking water and wastewater samples using gas chromatography, treatability studies on effluent samples, trace metal analysis using spectrophotometric methods, AAS and FES as well as development of new techniques for air, water and soil analysis.
