Dr. Ankita Doshi

Dr. Doshi Ankita is an Assistant Professor at Division of Biomedical Science, School of Science at Navrachana University. Her area of doctoral research work is protein structural and functional biology in various organisms ranging from lower to higher eukaryotes. She has peer reviewed research articles and has book chapter published to her credit. 

She was awarded The M. S. University junior research fellowship and CSIR-senior research fellowship to accomplish her doctoral studies. She has also participated and presented her scientific work at various national and international conferences, symposium and workshop. She is actively involved in the research activities. She has guided many MSc students for their dissertation research work at Department of Biochemistry, The M. S. University of Baroda as well as at Navrachana University.

Dr. Ankita has a work experience of 12 years, where prior to joining Navrachana University, she worked as visiting faculty at The M.S. University of Baroda, Vadodara and Navrachana University. She is also inducted as a paper setter in different universities across Gujarat. 

Teaching  

Dr. Ankita involved in teaching subjects of Life Sciences (Zoology, Biochemistry, Microbiology and Biotechnology) Teaching pedagogy at bachelor’s level usually includes lectures along with discussions, presentations, model-based learning etc. and at master’s level, deeper understanding of designing and solving research problems, scientific article writing and development of presentation skills are included along with lectures and laboratory sessions.
