Navrachana University, in association with the University of Arizona, has committed to work towards public health initiatives through the jointly launched Navrachana University Center for Public Health. This Center shall work on several public health issues through an interdisciplinary cross collaboration. The Center will also work on several IT based solutions for health management and reaching out to people in order to spread awareness on public health through tie ups with organizations, schools and government bodies. The Center plans to launch joint programs on public health and its management. The major thematic areas of work for the Center shall be emerging, re-emerging diseases, non-communicable diseases, maternal and foetal health and nutrition, IT solutions for health care, public health education, public health spaces, environmental health and occupational health.
