Dr. Viren K. Parikh is an accomplished academic and researcher currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Program at the School Engineering and Technology, Navrachana University. He earned his Ph.D. from Navrachana University, specializing in Metal Matrix Composites, Friction Stir Welding, and Stir Casting. His expertise spans various aspects of material science and manufacturing, with a strong focus on the processing and characterization of aluminum-based composites. His research contributions include several notable publications in prestigious international journals, covering topics such as friction stir processing and the microstructural properties of metal matrix composites. In addition, he has worked as a Junior Research Fellow under a Department of Science and Technology (DST)-sponsored project. His technical proficiency includes software tools such as ANSYS, Creo Parametric and Fusion 360, which he applies in his research and teaching. He continues to be an active contributor to the academic community through his participation in national and international conferences, as well as his ongoing research into innovative manufacturing processes.
