Program Details

The MSc-Computer Science Co-operative (Co-op) Education Program at Navrachana University is designed to bridge the gap between academia and industry by offering a unique blend of theoretical knowledge and practical experience. Through close collaboration with leading industry partners, the program aims to provide students with an enriched educational experience that enhances their employability and prepares them to excel in the dynamic field of Computer Science.

Term Duration Activities
1st Year July – December (Semester I) Academic coursework at NUV campus
January – June (Semester II) Academic coursework at NUV campus
2nd Year July – December (Semester III) Full-time internship at co-op partner organization
January – June (Semester IV) Full-time internship at co-op partner organization

During the second year, students engage in a full-time internship with one of the university’s co-op partner organizations. They gain practical experience and receive a stipend, which is pre-defined by the industry partner. The batch commencing from 2025, company internship will start from 2026.

Fees: Rs. 75000/- per semester

Students will pursue full year internship in the organization and stipend will be paid.

  • Events & Networking Opportunities : As Students will be engaged with the Industry Experts at the time of Study and Industry Experts will mentor during the Internship.
  • Collaborations & MOU : 4 companies have committed to hiring a minimum number of students for internships and pre-placement offers.

Offers

  • Minimum stipend of INR 10,000 – 15,000 per month during the co-op term
  • Minimum salary of INR 4.80 to 6.00 LPA which will be at par across the industry partners.
Admission Process

A minimum of 60% in 10th, 12th and Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., BCA, BSc (CS, DS, or IT)).

Entrance Exam: Students are evaluated through an aptitude test (reasoning and mathematical aptitude)  and a technical test in programming.

Interview: A technical presentation and personal interview to assess the candidate’s fit for the program.

The curriculum is designed to integrate academic coursework with industry experience. Students will undertake courses in key areas such as:
