Dr. Sujatha Patil is currently Principal of Law Program in School of Business & Law, Navrachana University, Vadodara. Dr. Patil journey in academics started form 2005 till the date. She worked in three reputed institutions in Bangalore. Prior to this was the appointment as Principal at IFIM Law College Bangalore.
She keep guiding undergraduate & postgraduate students for dissertation work and also Ph.D research scholars. She served as external examiner at Bangalore University. She was the member of Governing Council, Chairperson & member of different committees like Grievance, Academic Advisory, Moot Court, Legal Aid, NSS at IFIM, Dayanand Sagar Institutions, Sarvodaya Law College- Bangalore. Presently at Navrachana University she is a Chairperson of ICC and Head of IPR Cell. In addition, she is a member of different committees like, Research Committee, Disciplinary Committee, NAAC and Chairman of Student Body Council (Law@Nuv) etc.
Dr. Patil has published papers in peer reviewed journal of National & International repute and edited 4 books.
Apart from academic experience of 17 years, she also practiced for 1 year in High Court of Karnataka- Bangalore (2002-2003)

- LL.M in Business Law- Kuvempu University, Shimoga, Karanatka- (2003-2005)

Teaching
The courses she teach include Company Law, Contract Act, Constitutional Law, IPR, Jurisprudence, Labour Law, Foreign Trade Policy (FTP), Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). Her teaching approach goes beyond traditional classroom learning, incorporating a clinical method and various innovative strategies to ensure practical, hands-on understanding of the subjects.
