Drashti Shah has been working as a Teaching Assistant at Navrachana University since July 2025, supporting academic instruction, guiding students in laboratory and coursework, and contributing to the department’s teaching and management activities.Â
Currently a party of in the University Foundation Program(UFP) with a focus on Environmental Science and Climate Change. This program equips her with the necessary academic foundation and interdisciplinary understanding to pursue advanced studies and research in areas addressing global environmental challenges and sustainable development and contributes for NAAC reports as well.Â

The study applied remote sensing and GIS-based methodologies to analyse and mitigate urban flood risks in Vadodara. It focused on environmental data integration, advanced analytical techniques, and policy evaluation. Explored the role of policy regulation in promoting environmental sustainability and public health. Developed recommendations for enhancing urban flood resilience through sustainable planning and GIS-based approaches.Â
The research examined the urbanisation trends of Vadodara and their link to increasing urban flood risks. It involved applying remote sensing technologies, data acquisition techniques, and mapping methods for effective environmental monitoring and assessment.Â
