The BEd Program from NUV offers explicit support from the teachers in the form of approachability and oneon-one attention. The course has various modes to assess students such as presentations, assignments, projects, small group discussions. The foundation subject is chosen by the students in the first semester.
Navrachana University is a Private University and is in the UGC list of private universities. It is recognised by NCTE also.
BEd is a 2-year program divided into four semesters. It is a regular program.
Medium of instruction of BEd program in Navrachana University is English.
Any graduate/postgraduate (including Engineering) with a minimum of 50%, SC/ST with 45%. can apply for the BEd program.
The Navrachana College of Education-later became a part of Navrachana University and is a department functional from 2004. Due to the untiring efforts of its pioneers, it has created a history of providing quality teachers to different schools of Vadodara. Thus, a widespread, rich and warm relationship exists between the University and the large network of schools of Vadodara. This is how, the B.Ed. program of NUV has been successful with 100% placement for all its batches so far.
Most of the BEd alumni are placed in good schools throughout the country as well as in abroad. The department takes pride in declaring that many of the alumni are coordinators and principals in recognised schools. NUV maintains the alumni group on messaging apps (whatsapp) and email platforms. Information regarding the ongoing NUV events, expert talks, workshops, long-term and short-term courses, as well as several school vacancies created throughout the year are passed on to all the previous BEd students.
The University provides transportation and hostel facilities at an additional cost.
